parametrization of the construction elements

The parameterized architecture is the present and the future of the creation of elements for the world of architecture, and can be extrapolated to all kinds of objects. It is the fastest way to create and modify an element without having to redo from scratch.

The images correspond to two examples of parameterized architecture performed by BaboonLab. The first corresponds to the arcs that form part of the internal project of the structure and the parameterization scheme of those arcs with shapes and curves that the project has.

The project is for a residential building in Zaragoza, Spain. It has a ventilated facade of Faveton parameterized with Dynamo, so that the facade is perfect and is located in the right place. Having the parameterized facade can be adapted to new projects.

Once we need it, it can lead to the factory, so that its production is perfect and every piece can be ordered and put in its place. Having the parameterized facade can be adapted to new projects.

Parametric facade will be used in future projects.

Skills needed

It is necessary to have programming knowledge and intuit which parameter needs to continue the string in the desired order. There is a lot of research, trial and error.
